Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry was incorporated under an Ameri Decree issued by late H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Hmaid Bin Rashid Al Nu’aimi in 1977, stipulating that the chamber of commerce and industry shall be a legal entity with an independent financially.
The chamber is regarded as one of the most important establishments and departments serving the private sector as it acts on representing the economical interests of the establishments and the individuals of the said sector in an aim to develop and enhance its economical roles through providing various services and by representing the said sector’s interests before governmental authorities, in addition to providing support and handling any problems and difficulties facing the sector. During the first board meeting of this year, His Excellency, Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched the " Smart Attestation " service, which is concerned with the validity of members' signature on the smart attestation requests; thus, the Chamber provides 24 types of attestations; the service depends on online submission and uploading the required documents for reviewing and approval, then paying via the Ajman smart payment portal to complete the application, attest, and allow it to be printed by the customer. The members of the Board of Directors emphasized the importance of the service so that a new service will join the series of electronic and smart services provided by the Ajman Chamber to its members.
Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a seminar entitled "Cryptocurrencies", as part of a series of seminars organized for its employees to exchange economic experience and information in a way that enhances the outputs of the work environment; thus this will be reflected on the quality of provided services. The seminar was chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General, Executive Directors, and the entire Chamber's employees through the video-conference feature. Al-Muwaiji stressed that the economic sector is constantly developing, which calls for diversifying the employees' knowledge of the latest developments; moreover, His Excellency reveals the importance of the seminar and its role in reviewing the history and stages of development of "cryptocurrencies" and their strengths and weaknesse.
The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) in cooperation with the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, Department of Port and Customs-Ajman and the Ajman Free Zone organized a joint meeting with the exporters workgroup in the emirate. The meeting came to discuss the ways to foster trade size, to explore the opportunities available to increase exports volume and to highlight the external markets that meet aspirations of the emirate’s factories and exporters. It also aimed to identify the challenges that may face the exports sector and to come up with appropriate solutions.
