Ajman Centre For Social Responsibility Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With Amina Hospital

The Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility – a subsidiary of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anglo Arabian Healthcare’s Amina Hospital to collaborate on joint initiatives, awareness programmes, workshops, and tests for employees in companies and factories in the emirate. The agreement was signed by Nasser Al-Dhafri, CEO of Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility, and Mohamed Ali Al Omari, Chief Operating Officer of Anglo Arabian Healthcare. The MoU states that Amina Hospital and all of its branches and centres in the Northern Emirates – including Amina Medical Centre in Ajman and Sharjah Corniche Medical Centre – will offer discounts on medical services to Ajman Chamber member companies and factories, provided they are included in the list of companies approved by the Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility. Members need only present their business card to prove they are employed in companies and factories in the emirate. Discounts vary in rates from 20% for inpatients to up to 50% for outpatients. “The Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility is committed to enhancing our cooperation with public and private entities in the Emirate of Ajman, and the UAE in general, in an effort to provide services that align with our vision and strategic goals to promote a culture of responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship,” asserted the Centre’s CEO Nasser Al-Dhafri. “We strive to offer benefits that help ensure the community’s wellbeing and happiness,” he added. “This is in line with the leadership’s directives and Ajman’s ambitious vision to build a happy society, whose members are equipped with advanced skills and capabilities to drive the country’s development over the next 50 years.” “This MoU adds to our track record and our history of building strategic partnerships to support Ajman and the UAE’s social and economic development, specifically through social responsibility initiatives,” Al-Dhafri noted. The MoU with the esteemed Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility is yet another validation of Amina Hospital's unwavering commitment to support and contribute to the health sector of the emirate of Ajman and the UAE on a whole, by making available global standards of healthcare and treatment to all members of our society,” stated Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Omari, Chief Operating Officer of Anglo Arabian Healthcare. "As one of the best multi-specialty hospitals in Ajman, Amina Hospital is equipped with world-class facilities across a wide range of departments, including a highly advanced Cath lab facility and a fully equipped dialysis clinic, in addition to a highly reputed team of healthcare experts ensuring not just clinical excellence but also an adherence to Amina’s core values and mission to be the best healthcare provider in the region and to enhance the standards of health and wellbeing in our radius of service," Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Omari concluded. For its part in the MoU, Amina Hospital will also offer a 30% discount on all laboratory tests and X-rays, as well as free emergency medical (ambulance) services for patients in cases of emergency within the Emirate of Ajman. The Hospital is also offering a 20% discount on transferring patients to the hospital from outside the emirate. As part of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ajman Centre for Social Responsibility provides resources and guidance on corporate social responsibility issues. It seeks to enhance the positive role that business can play, lending its support to raising awareness about and promoting corporate social responsibility. The Centre aims to ensure long-term social and economic wellbeing in the Emirate of Ajman.
