Ajman Businesswomen Council And Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association Sign A Memorandum Of Understanding

The Ajman Businesswomen's Council signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association in Ajman, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and implementing joint initiatives and projects to empower women, strengthen their societal role, and guide them to engage in self-employment fields and diversify their investments and private projects so as to increase their contribution to the process of sustainable economic development. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al-Ali, Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council, and Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad, Executive Director of Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association, at the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The MOE stipulates that each party has to provide the other party with the targeted annual programs and activities such as “conferences, forums, lectures, symposiums, workshop campaigns, and others” and give the opportunity for the other party to participate in them. In addition, the two parties would announce joint programs and activities on their websites and media, cooperate to provide logistical support in implementing events, exchange experiences and relevant information, and organize joint courses and workshops for members and affiliates of both parties. Dr. Amna Khalifa Al-Ali confirmed that the cooperation between the Ajman Businesswomen Council and the Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association exists and continues to serve the members and affiliates of both parties, noting the importance of the MOU and its role in increasing partnership and cooperation between the Council and the Association to implement qualitative activities that serve the goals and directions of both parties. She explained that the Ajman Businesswomen's Council is keen to expand its circle of partnerships to ensure the diversification of services provided by the Council to its members and business owners in general. For her part, Asmaa Muhammad Shahdad, Executive Director of the Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association, pointed out that the MOE crowns the existing partnership between the Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association and the Ajman Businesswomen Council, stressing that the experiences and knowledge of both parties will enhance cooperation and partnership to implement value-added activities that contribute to providing more benefits to the members and affiliates of both the Association and the Council.
