4 Specialized Workshops Organized By The Ajman Business Women Council (Ajbwc) For Children And Youth

Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Board member of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), stressed the importance of diversifying training programs and making use of the capabilities of youth and targeting different age groups in order to build their skills, enhance their awareness and knowledge, and encourage them to implement special projects in the future. Al Ali explained that the Council was keen to implement a series of specialized workshops by a number of qualified trainers. This is part of the "AJBWC's Summer initiative under the motto "Skills and Creativity", with the aim of exploiting the period of summer vacation for male and female students so that the AJBWC at the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship organized 4 training workshops entitled "The Little Designer Workshop", "Bon Bon Kitchen", "The Little Barista", and "How to Increase the Number of Your Clients?". More than 50 male and female persons have participated in the workshops. The AJBWC's was keen to participate in the Ajman government's summer program "Our Summer is Happiness", by organizing two workshops for the program's affiliates. Dr. Amna Khalifa praised the obvious interaction of the participants and the interest of their parents in developing the skills and abilities of their children. She confirmed that the summer program came within the council's annual plan for training and rehabilitation. She also praised the efforts of the council's partners from government and private agencies in providing a specialized and integrated training program. Al Ali pointed out that the Ajman Businesswomen's Council continues to increase its partnerships with all government and private agencies to provide various training packages for its members and all segments of society, which has a direct impact on the development of the local economy and the increase in the contributions of small and micro enterprises. She added: "AJBWC is keen, within its annual training plan, to develop the capabilities and knowledge of children and youth." In addition, to invest their spare time to consolidate the culture of investment and implement their own projects in the future and encourage them to follow a special career path.”
