The Umm Al Moumineen Women's Association in Ajman, in cooperation with the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), organized the Emirati Woman’s Forum under the slogan “An inspiring reality..a sustainable future”, under the generous patronage of HH Sheikha Fatima bint Zayed bin Saqr Al Nahyan - the wife of HH the Ruler of Ajman and President of the Umm Al Moumineen Women's Association The forum at the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship was attended by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Board member of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), Asmaa Shahdad, Executive Director of the Umm Al-Moumineen Association, members of the Ajman Businesswomen’s Board of Directors, a number of women, female entrepreneurs, and members of the Umm Al-Moumineen Association. For her part, Dr. Amna Khalifa stressed that Emirati Woman's Day is a coronation and gratitude for what women offered for the leadership and advancement of their country, pointing out that women's contributions to the economic sector demonstrate the position that Emirati women have reached in all fields of business. The women have reached various leadership and supervisory positions. She also commended the qualitative achievements provided by the wise leadership to empower women, since the approach established by the founder of the state, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul, to empower women and enhance their leadership to become a global example to be followed. During her speech, Al Ali congratulated the Emirati women. She emphasized the necessity of giving, continuing excellence, and enhancing contribution to the comprehensive renaissance. She also emphasized the role of women in building the individual as well as the society and instilling good values and habits and its reflection on improving the quality of life and promoting happiness and positivity. For her part, Asma Shahdad, Executive Director of the Umm Al-Moumineen Association, praised the efforts of AJBWC in organizing this forum on this great occasion, which represents an immortal day in the path of Emirati women, as on it we renew the pledge to the homeland and the leadership that the daughter of the state will continue her role in giving with all sincerity, diligence, and proficiency in national development with gratitude for the leadership that provided her with all the care, support, and attention that raise her reputation to the world ranks, presenting a unique model in national giving in all fields including education and work, leading decision-making centers, building families, and achieving social cohesion. The forum aims to shed light on the active role of women in building society and their ability to overcome difficulties and push them towards continuing to achieve the highest gains for themselves and their society. The forum also reflects the effective role of women and their great sacrifices in building generations and the nation, and in all the tasks they undertake without exception. Under the title "An Inspiring Reality", the first axis of the forum's activities dealt with the career path of entrepreneur Sheikha Al Ali, where she presented an overview of the factors for an entrepreneur's success, which start with encouragement from the family and the individual's belief in his/her abilities. In addition, there should be perseverance and diligence in learning, especially in light of the practical and theoretical training platforms provided by the concerned authorities in the country, as well as benefiting from the authorities concerned with supporting male and female project owners. She also explained her career path and how to face difficulties and challenges. Al Ali also confirmed that her work in Expo 2020 as Director of the Food and Beverage Department enhanced her expertise and directly contributed to informing business and project owners of the best practices in the field of food and hospitality. The second axis of the forum’s activities came under the title “Emirati Sana'a” and was presented by Moza Rashid Khalifa, where she explained her life experience and stressed the importance of the Emirati women’s role in raising children and instilling principles of respect and a refined and polite manner in dealing with others and maintaining good habits and instilling them in the hearts of children. The forum’s activities also included a workshop entitled “Making burqas, a way for adornment and virtuous” presented by Moza bint Hudayba and Maryam Rashid Khaseef, in which they explained the types of burqas, the classification of the parts of the burqa, and how to cut and sew the burqa. During the forum, the Saudi entrepreneur Mohamad Ameer Said, founder of Zoya Health & Wellbeing Resort, congratulated the attendees on the occasion of Emirati Woman’s Day. He gave an overview of the resort and the health services it provides, and the methods of treatment and hospitalization based on the latest international methods and standards. Said has also explained the modern treatments provided in the resort by a group of doctors and specialists to promote activity, vitality, and a healthy lifestyle. He also invited all the attendees to visit the resort and get acquainted with it closely.
