The Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) revealed the launch of the "Red Fort Crafts Festival" activities under the slogan "Our Heritage is a Sustainable Industry", which aims to shed light on handicrafts and heritage handmade and enable professionals and entrepreneurs to promote their products as well as discussing opportunities for transforming handmade and heritage products into sustainable projects and industries that provide innovative products. The press conference was attended by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of AJBWC and ACCI Board member, Hind Al Marzooqi, Director of the Office of Culture and Arts in the Tourism Development Department in Ajman, Abeer Al Faraj, Director of the AJBWC's Office, Marwan Al Nuaimi from the Transport Authority in Ajman, and many journalists and media representatives at the headquarters of AJBWC. At the beginning of the press conference, Dr. Amna Khalifa welcomed the attendees and stated that the "Red Fort Crafts festival", which will be organized on March 9th, 2023 in Manama Region, in the Manama Museum garden, from 4 PM to 8 PM, This festival, is in line with the launch of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah protect him, the third edition of the "The Most Beautiful Winter in the World" campaign under the slogan "Our Heritage ". The festival also aims to introduce the crafts and professions that distinguish the people of the UAE and to discuss opportunities to transform handicrafts into a sustainable industry by encouraging entrepreneurs to practice the ancestral profession innovatively. Dr. Khalifa emphasized that the festival combines "The Most Beautiful Winter in the World" campaign with highlighting our developed professional heritage, which is characterized by creativity and sustainability. She explained that ABWC is keen to diversify its projects and initiatives and their interdependence with the state's orientations and to guide business leaders to adopt innovative projects, especially those projects that are in line with our national identity and cultural heritage. For her part, Hind Al Marzooqi said: "The Ajman Tourism Development Department is constantly seeking to provide support to the business community in Ajman by developing the business environment and achieving growth in the economic sector, concerning supporting various types of investment activities." She explained that the launch of the festival from Manama city sheds light on the heritage, architecture, traditional crafts, and support for the tourism product of the city, which is a vivid picture of beauty that nature can bestow with its fertile plains and valleys, the mountains surrounding it and the heritage it embraces represented in museums, forts, and castles, which extend far in time and bear witness to the history of Ajman. Marwan Al Nuaimi stressed the keenness of the Transport Authority to enhance cooperation and partnership with AJBWC and all partners from government agencies, to contribute to the implementation of pioneering activities and initiatives that support the competitiveness of Ajman in all sectors. Abeer Al-Faraj, Director of the AJBWC Office, revealed the competition for "Best Developed and Innovative Old Craft or Profession" as well as the "Photography" competition under the slogan "Eye on Our Heritage" to choose the best picture of traditional UAE crafts.
