Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), stated that the AJBWC's summer program has a wide range of events and specialized workshops in cooperation with the AJBWC partners from government and private entities. AJBWC held 7 specialized training workshops aimed at enhancing the capabilities and skills of women entrepreneurs and those who wish to start new projects. Also, AJBWC was keen to enhance the benefit of young people, take advantage of their free time, and educate them on the foundations of selecting and managing projects and successful marketing of services and products. The workshops of the AJBWC's summer program included "AI Uses in Self-Employment", "Ideas for a Healthy Summer", "Sustainable Industry" in cooperation with the Ajman Society of Social & Cultural Development within the "Our Happy Summer" program, "AI Professionalism in Self-Employment", two professional small barista workshops, and "AI Uses for Young People". On the other hand, Dr. Amna Khalifa explained that the AJBWC was keen to diversify its marketing activities within the "Rufof" initiative and to open sales outlets for the products of Bidayat license holders in cooperation with the AJBWC partners, as more than 30 projects benefited from the initiative during the summer program. AJBWC was keen to organize interactive discussion platforms to enhance direct communication and introduce the AJBWC's services, including the discussion meeting entitled "A Happy Lifestyle" under the slogan "Live It Right". It also organized a discussion session entitled "The Economic Role of the Family". The Chairwoman of the AJBWC indicated that intensifying channels of cooperation and partnership with government and private entities comes at the top of its priorities for the AJBWC to sign two memorandums of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council (ADBWC) and the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation (UAEMPF). As part of the "Business Clinic" initiative, AJBWC provided a sustainable channel to provide legal and economic advice, improve feasibility studies for projects, provide support, and solve challenges facing business owners, in cooperation with consultant firms specialized in providing consultations. Dr. Amna said "We are committed to supporting and empowering ambitious women in Ajman, and believe in the importance of providing high-quality educational and training opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills. The AJBWC's message is to encourage and support women to enter the labor market; support their initiatives, investments, and projects; adopt their ideas; and motivate them to enter the fields of self-employment. She also indicated that AJBWC, within its summer program and in conjunction with the celebrations of Emirati Women's Day, is keen to honor and encourage a group of businesswomen who own pioneering projects, with a view to highlighting the status and role of Emirati women in supporting the comprehensive development process and the development of the economic sector in general.
