Ajbwc Signed A Mou With The Emirates Association Of Women Entrepreneurs

In support of women entrepreneurship in the UAE, the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) and the Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing collaboration and exchanging knowledge and experiences in the field of entrepreneurship, and organizing joint initiatives, training programs and workshops to develop the skills of women business owners and entrepreneurs. MoU was signed at Al Safia Majlis - Ajman by H.E Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, and H.E. Dr. Shafeeqa Al Ameri, Chairwoman of Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs, in the presence of H. E. Maryam Ali Al Mamari, Secretary General of the Coordination Board for Charitable Activities and Awqaf in Ajman, H.E. Mona Saqr Al Matrooshi and H.E. Wafa Hassan Al Foura Al Shamsi, members of the Board of Directors of the AJBWC, and Abeer Al Faraj, Director of the AJBWC's Office. MoU stipulated strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two parties in all areas of entrepreneurship and community work, consolidating the concepts of community service and its importance among new generations, spreading the culture of community work, providing training and qualification opportunities, organizing various activities aimed at serving women and entrepreneurs and the community, and exchanging experiences between the two parties in the field of lectures, courses, consultations, dissemination and promotion of the culture of entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation among women business owners, in addition to exchanging information and experiences in the field of social and economic work. For her part, Dr. Amna Khalifa praised the efforts of the Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs to support entrepreneurship and community work programs and stressed the importance of mutual cooperation and its role in providing competitive capabilities that support the development of women business owners’ projects and enhance their entrepreneurial contribution. She explained that the AJBWC will adopt, during the current year 2024, a wide range of partnerships with the authorities concerned with supporting and entrepreneurship of Emirati women, with a view to achieving the AJBWA’s mission aimed at encouraging and supporting women to enter the labor market, supporting their initiatives, investments, and projects, adopting their ideas, and motivating them to enter the fields of self-employment within the UAE and outside it. Dr. Shafeeqa Al Ameri said, “The memorandum of cooperation will enable both the AJBWC and the Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs to implement many joint programs and projects in the fields of training and qualification and the implementation of specialized workshops. The collaboration also contributes to unifying efforts to diversify participation in exhibitions and events directed to women business owners and entrepreneurs inside and outside the country.” She stated that the Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs will seek to market, promote, and sell the products of businesswomen who are AJBWC members and have Bedayat license through the Association’s electronic platform. At the conclusion of the MoU signing meeting, Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali and Dr. Shafeeqa Al Ameri exchanged shields and souvenirs among them.
