Zaam Is A Platform That Brings Together Temporary Job Seekers With Project Owners

The Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) launched the ''ZAAM'' platform, which provides a sustainable database that links business owners, with those looking for temporary job opportunities, so that both parties can register on the platform through the AJBWC’s social media channels This came during the Community Leadership Forum organized by the AJBWC with the aim of educating business owners about the importance of community projects and their impact on society, and encouraging them to adopt and implement successful economic projects with a positive societal impact. The forum was attended at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, members of the AJBWC's Board of Directors, and 40 participants from business owners, women, and employees of government agencies. The forum was moderated by Eman Al Soum, a member of the Board of Directors of AJBWC, and Wafa Al Foura Al Shamsi, a member of the Board of Directors of AJBWC, provided a detailed explanation about the ‘'ZAAM'' platform and its societal role in providing an interactive platform between job seekers and project owners, and explained to the attendees the registration mechanisms on the platform Fahad Faisal Al Baqer, founder and director of Newtonology, presented a workshop entitled “The Importance and Objectives of Community Leadership,” where he discussed the impact of teamwork on the results of community projects, and defined community leadership as “an approach by individuals or companies that develop, finance, and implement solutions to community issues'' This workshop emphasized the role of innovation in the areas of community leadership by defining the project idea and providing solutions. The characteristics of the entrepreneurial person and the elements of the community project plan were explained by defining the vision, mission, goals, benefits, implementation mechanisms, and measuring impact. Dr. Amna Khalifa confirmed that the AJBWC is concerned with providing specialized initiatives and programs that enhance the integration of entrepreneurship with social responsibility, especially since the success and sustainability of projects is linked to the need of society, explaining that the AJBWC is intensifying its efforts to support social entrepreneurship in accordance with the UAE’s directions. She praised the role of government agencies in providing quality initiatives to support community entrepreneurs and building an entrepreneurial community economy, in addition to introducing initiatives related to industrial entrepreneurship. Fahad Saleh Abdullah, Director of Projects at the Finance Department - Ajman, gave an overview of the “Tawreed” platform, and explained to the attendees how to join the platform and benefit from the available services. These benefits directed to owners of SMEs, were explained. He explained that the platform provides a digital channel that brings together suppliers and government agencies in Ajman, and the integrated services the platform provides for reviewing and participating in tenders, following up on the tender completion and delivery process, and completing financial transactions for tenders and other service packages provided by the platform. He called on female entrepreneurs to register on the Tawreed platform, especially since the registration service is free for home license holders, in support of enhancing the competitiveness of these projects in benefiting from government tenders At the end of the Forum, Dr. Amna Khalifa honored the speakers at the Forum, and the floor was also opened for discussion, inquiries, and recommendations regarding the working papers presented during the Forum.
