The Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) launched the “30 Day Challenge Competition” as part of the Sports Platform Initiative, with a view of promoting health awareness and encouraging women to adopt a balanced lifestyle that includes practicing sports activities and adopting sound nutritional methods for a happier, healthier and better quality of life, so that the competition coincides with the activities of National Sports Day. The competition launch event at the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship was attended by Abeer Eid Al Faraj, Director of the AJBWC's Office, a number of female government employees, AJBWC members, and representatives of health authorities participating in organizing the competition. The competition targets female employees of government agencies, members of the AJBWC, and those who hold a Bedayat license. This competition will continue for 30 days in cooperation with the AJBWC’s relevant partners, “Ajman Specialty General Hospital, Clinica Medical Center, and Dr. Nutrition.” Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, confirmed that the AJBWC is keen to enhance the economic aspect and support the social, sports and health aspects of women, given their direct impact on the success of women’s projects and achieving balance and happiness for the family and society. She stated that the competition includes a group of activities, examinations, and medical and nutritional consultations in cooperation with the AJBWC’s partners, so that specialized training sessions and workshops on healthy nutrition methods will be organized, in addition to providing valuable prizes to the winners who demonstrate the highest levels of commitment and progress during the challenge period. Dr. Amna Khalifa invited women wishing to participate to register in the competition and contribute to achieving its health goals, by communicating with the AJBWC through its official channels or visiting the AJBWC’s headquarters This competition includes several stages, starting with the registration stage with both the AJBWC and the “Dr. Nutrition” branches, with the nutritional and sports program starting, determining training locations, and monitoring performance from March 7 to April 4, then the stage of final examinations, evaluation, and announcement of the competition winners. Ajman General Specialty Hospital presented an overview of its participation in the “30 Day Challenge Competition” and the periodic examinations provided to the participants, in addition to providing a package of offers and discounts to participants in the sports platform initiative and the competition in general. The “Dr. Nutrition” presentation also addressed the importance of the competition and the adoption of healthy diets, with the help of experts and specialists, the measurement of vital indicators is monitored, in addition to the free services provided and special package offers for participants in the competition. On the sidelines of the launch of the competition, a group of medical and nutritional examinations and consultations were provided to the attendees, with the participation of “Ajman Specialty General Hospital, Clinica Medical Center, Dr. Nutrition, The Gym, the "eEtmenan Program, the Emirates Health Services (EHS), and Damas Medical Center.”
