Ajman Centre For Entrepreneurship Seeks The Mechanisms To Attract Female Entrepreneurs

Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairperson of the Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC), stated that the Ajman Centre for Entrepreneurship affiliated with the Ajman Chamber provides a sustainable platform to serve owners of SMEs in the emirate through strengthening the efforts made to diversify the benefits and components directed to the Council’s members. It would organize permanent events and exhibitions that ensure direct communication between the emirate’s community and the entrepreneurs, she added. This came during the meeting held at the Ajman Centre for Entrepreneurship, in the presence of Khaled Al Shamsi, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, and Abeer Eid Al Faraj, Director of the Ajman Businesswomen's Office. The meeting was also attended by the employees of the AJBWC and the work team of the Center, where they discussed the building’s management plan and marketing mechanisms to attract female entrepreneurs to benefit from the services provided by the Centre that is located in the Al Jurf, Ajman. The meeting reviewed the Centre’s regulations and lease contracts for the building's stores. The building provides 64 stores and a number of halls. They also discussed the logistical requirements of the building, as well as the future plan and targeted activities to ensure an added value for the entrepreneurs benefiting from the Centre. Dr. Amna Khalifa praised the efforts of the leadership in providing support and various components for the business community, especially the enterprises owned by Emirati businesswomen to ensure the growth and sustainability of these projects. She also pointed to the efforts of the AJBWC to carry out quality programmes and projects that enhance the benefit of its members and the growth of their businesses. Khalifa further appreciated the keenness of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber to provide full support for the Council’s projects and initiatives, and the Chamber’s role in creating an attractive climate for the success of SMEs, which would feed in to the growth of the economic sector as a whole.
