Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, a member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber and Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), praised the economic and tourism role of the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival, organized by the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD). She highlighted the festival's provision of an innovative interactive platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Ajman and the UAE. She stated that the sponsorship and participation of the Ajman Chamber and the AJBWC in the festival reflect their commitment to supporting events that contribute to the economic and tourism development of Ajman. This also enhances the agricultural sector and encourages farmers and honey producers to grow their businesses and increase their investments. Al Ali explained that the AJBWC is participating in the current edition of the festival, held at the Emirates Hospitality Hall until July 28, with the "Rufuf" initiative, which provides a sustainable marketing platform for the products of the AJBWC's members who are businesswomen. The Rufuf platform will showcase a wide range of "handicrafts, food items, perfumes, incense, and other products related to culture and heritage" during the festival days. Dr. Amna Khalifa added, "Diversifying the channels for showcasing the "Rufuf" initiative reflects the ongoing support for businesswomen and contributes to enhancing their marketing capabilities, enabling them to reach a broader audience. Notably, the "Rufuf" initiative includes five sustainable outlets and display platforms that have benefited thirty-three projects by businesswomen who are AJBWC members during the first half of this year."
