Ajbwc Addresses Its Schedule Of Activities And Engagements For The Fourth Quarter Of 2024

Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, the Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), presided over the AJBWC 's third meeting of 2024. The agenda included reviewing the AJBWC 's ongoing projects and initiatives, discussing the activity roadmap, and examining the schedule for planned engagements for the year. The meeting saw the attendance of Aisha Khalfan bin Badr Al Nuaimi, Vice President of the AJBWC, along with Board members and AJBWC staff, both at the Ajman AJBWC headquarters and through video conferencing. At the meeting's outset, Dr. Amna Khalifa greeted the participants and emphasized that the accomplishments of women and female entrepreneurs in Ajman are due to the steadfast and boundless support from H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman. This support is a crucial cornerstone for fostering women's entrepreneurship in the emirate and securing their vital role in the economic sector and the journey towards inclusive and sustainable development. She also conveyed her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi on the 43rd anniversary of his accession to power in the Emirate of Ajman. The meeting's agenda covered the approval of the minutes from the AJBWC 's second meeting in 2024, as well as the progress made on the proposals and recommendations from the prior meeting. Additionally, the AJBWC ‘ endeavors in expanding activities and introducing quality initiatives and projects that align with the evolving project market and entrepreneurship sector were highlighted. The meeting participants received a report detailing AJBWC 's accomplishments for this year's third quarter. The AJBWC launched several initiatives in collaboration with the emirate's government agencies. This includes the "Rioqi" initiative, aimed at offering breakfast to employees and clients of the participating government agencies, and the "Rufof" initiative, which focuses on promoting businesswomen's products through the initiative's designated outlets, benefiting 23 businesswomen's projects affiliated with AJBWC. In the third quarter of this year, AJBWC unveiled its new identity to coincide with Emirati Women's Day and revealed the Executive Diploma program "Future Leadership for Businesswomen in the Digital Age," developed in partnership with the Future Foresight Foundation. Additionally, the AJBWC conducted 6 training workshops on feasibility studies and project management, as well as other sessions aimed at youth, as a contribution to the Ajman Government's summer initiative "Our Summer is Happiness." The participants were updated on the outcomes of AJBWC 's involvement in the Liwa Ajman Dates and Honey Festival, along with the recommendations and conclusions from the Council's meetings with governmental and private organizations. The meeting covered the roster of participations in local, Gulf, and international conferences and forums slated for the fourth quarter of this year, along with the key exhibitions where AJBWC will be represented both domestically and abroad. The Board of Directors has emphasized the importance of diversifying cooperative channels with entities that support women and women's entrepreneurship. They advocate for more events aligned with the AJBWC initiatives to maximize benefits for the greatest number of female entrepreneurs within the Council. Additionally, there is a call to expand courses and workshops designed to bolster women's competencies and skills in areas such as marketing, management, finance, product and project development, innovation, among others.
