Ajbwc And Adbwc Intend To Carry Out Joint Initiatives

The Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC) affiliating with the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed ways to increase the cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and to enhance direct communication between the two sides. This came during the meeting held at the Ajman Entrepreneurship Centre, in the presence of Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chair of the AJBWC, Dr. Shafika Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and members of the Board of Directors of AJBWC. During the meeting, Dr. Amna Khalifa praised the efforts of the businesswomen councils in the country and their role in empowering Emirati women. She also affirmed that the pioneering projects of businesswomen reflect the efforts of the UAE government in supporting women and providing the necessary ingredients to ensure the success and sustainability of their projects. Dr. Amna also commended the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council in carrying out stimulating projects and initiatives that enhance contributions of female entrepreneurs in the economic sector. She also stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships between businesswomen's councils due to their positive impact on the growth of their projects nationwide. For her part, Dr. Shafiqa Al Ameri affirmed that the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council is keen to diversify its partnerships and initiatives, noting that the memorandum of understanding concluded between the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and the Ajman Businesswomen Council translates the existing cooperation, partnership and the benefit of the members of the two parties. It also contributes to providing a comprehensive and accurate database on the female entrepreneurs in both the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Ajman, she added. The two councils intend to organise a joint interactive introductory workshop for their members on the mechanisms of launching and succeeding businesswomen’s projects, in addition to opening new horizons for women to spread their products on a large scale. It also aims at introducing them to the most important services available at the Ajman Entrepreneurship Centre.
