Ajman Business Women Council, in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development - Ajman, hosted a celebration in honor of the 53rd Union Day. The event featured a range of cultural, recreational, and national activities that highlighted the values of loyalty and belonging to the wise leadership and the nation. The celebration, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Community Development – Ajman, was attended by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC), Rashid Al-Ghumlasi, Director of the Seniors’ Happiness Center in Ajman, Mona Al Kaabi, Director of the Mashagel Center at the Ministry of Community Development - Ajman, a number of seniors, employees of the Ajman Chamber and the Ajman Business Women Council, members of Mashagel Center, customers and employees of the Ministry, families, and community members. The ceremony kicked off with the national anthem, performed by one of the members of Mashagel Center. In her opening speech, Dr. Amna Khalifa congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the Union Day and the anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates. She highlighted the importance of the celebration and the involvement of a diverse range of community members, including seniors, people of determination, female entrepreneurs, and citizen and resident families. She said: "The UAE's achievements continue to progress with unwavering determination under the guidance of wise leadership and the united people of the nation. Year after year, ambition grows and wishes are realized on the ground, so that the world can witness the UAE's leadership and prosperity in all sectors. The Union Day is an occasion for celebrating the nation with glory and pride, where the values of loyalty and belonging are embodied and during which we affirm our commitment to preserving the nation’s gains." The Chairwoman of the Ajman Business Women Council commended the efforts of the wise leadership in empowering Emirati women and supporting female entrepreneurship, and the national achievements made in this field. She called for businesswomen to continue working on their contributions to supporting the national economy. The celebration included a poetry performance read by seniors, and a special Yowlah part performed by members of the Mashagel Center for People of Determination. The celebration also witnessed an accompanying exhibition of products of people of determination, including handicrafts and heritage gifts. In addition, there was a dedicated art station for senior citizens and workshops on crafting handmade products. The event concluded with honoring the sponsors and exchanging shields between the Ajman Business Women Council and the Ministry of Community Development - Ajman.
