Ajbwc And The Nine From Bahrain Sign A Memorandum Of Cooperation

The Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Nine Training Centre from the Kingdom of Bahrain, to enhance the cooperation and to provide training platforms for businesswomen and members of the Council. It also aims at sharing experiences of the two parties in order to achieve complementarity of roles. The memorandum was signed remotely by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairperson of the AJBWC, and Sheikha Noura bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Med Point and The Nine. It stipulated the cooperation and partnership in holding specialized training programmes in the business field. The Nine Training Centre will provide its training services for the members and entrepreneurs, while the AJBWC will take over the organizing and marketing of the courses with surveying the training requirements of businesswomen. “The AJBWC is keen to carry out a comprehensive training plan in cooperation with the professional establishments to provide the members with practical skills and scientific knowledge in managing and growing their businesses in a way that enhances their contribution to the economic sector,” Dr Amna said. She also pointed out that the Council strives to reinforce its partnerships to provide various services that keep pace with the development of the activities of businesswomen in general and members of the AJBWC in particular. For her part, Sheikha Noura bint Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of the memorandum and its role in boosting the cooperation between the institutions in the GCC countries to utilize the available expertise and to provide services for female entrepreneurs. She also praised the efforts of the governments in the region in empowering businesswomen and providing them with unlimited support to enhance their contribution to the development of the GCC economy in general. She explained that the memorandum of cooperation would provide a platform for organizing training courses in marketing, administration, production, innovation and other areas by experts in entrepreneurship.
