Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) convened its fourth board meeting of 2024 to review the AJBWC’s achievements and the outcomes of its projects and programs for the current year. The meeting also approved the 2025 work plan, projects, and initiatives, explored opportunities to expand government and private partnerships, and reviewed participation in local and international exhibitions and events, all aimed at achieving the AJBWC's goals and vision of empowering businesswomen and sustaining their businesses. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, AJBWC's Chairwoman, and attended by the members of the AJBWC's Board and employees at the AJBWC's headquarters. At the outset, Dr. Khalifa welcomed the members and emphasized that the Ajman Chamber’s continued support for the AJBWC’s initiatives and projects plays a key role in advancing women entrepreneurs' ventures and businesses. She commended the AJBWC’s partners for their contributions to developing women’s investments and enhancing the success of their projects. She also highlighted the importance of joint cooperation in achieving the AJBWC’s objectives and serving the broader economic community. Furthermore, the meeting addressed the adoption of the minutes from the third meeting of the AJBWC in 2024 and presented a report on the AJBWC’s achievements during the previous period, including "Bidayat License" and AJBWC membership. The report highlighted the initiatives and workshops implemented by the AJBWC to achieve its goals and support members in upgrading their projects and developing their businesses. Notably, in the last quarter of this year, the AJBWC launched the "Ryouqi (My Breakfast)" initiative and the "Rufof" initiative, which were distributed to six sustainable outlets to market products from women business owners who are members of the AJBWC. Furthermore, the AJBWC showcased its efforts in advancing home farming projects, with a focus on empowering members to invest in agriculture. This was particularly demonstrated through the implementation of the cooled plastic greenhouses projects within the "Plant and Reap" initiative, with support from the Ajman Chamber. Dr. Khalifa revealed the AJBWC's work plan for 2025, which aims to implement a broad range of projects and initiatives focused on empowering women business owners and enhancing the sustainability of their ventures. She explained that the plan includes launching innovative and advisory training programs, expanding strategic partnerships with government and private institutions, diversifying women’s participation in events, and developing innovative tools and mechanisms to support women’s entrepreneurship. She emphasized that the AJBWC’s goal for 2025 is to implement the consultive "360° Forum", which will feature awareness dialogue sessions to introduce the guiding principles of Ajman Vision and link them to entrepreneurship, economy, education, sports, culture, and entertainment. The forum will also include a series of exhibitions and accompanying events. Moreover, the "Talaqi" program will organize a number of specialized forums in cooperation with the AJBWC’s partners from government and private entities. The plan also includes the "Numakin" program, under the umbrella of which comes "Rufof, Sayarati, Plant and Reap" initiative, as well as the Business Clinic, Future Foresight, Ryouqi, Summer Program, and the “4×1” exhibition." Other initiatives include the “Social Entrepreneurship” program, the "Sports Platform" initiative, the “ZAAM” initiative, the “Nashee” (youth) program, and a series of specialized exhibitions throughout the year.
