Ajbwc Highlights Opportunities In Real Estate Investment And Brokerage

Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) organized a session entitled "Your Journey to Wealth: Your Success Story" with the aim of raising awareness about real estate investment opportunities, linking entrepreneurship to the real estate sector, building knowledge and skills in real estate brokerage, and understanding the trends and future of the real estate market. The workshop, attended by Mona Saqr Al Matrooshi, AJBWC's Board member, and over 45 participants from government employees, male and female business owners, and AJBWC members, was held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel. The session featured working papers presented by the "Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, the Emirates Association for Women Entrepreneurs (EAWE), and the Baytukum platform." Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, emphasized the importance of the session, which reflects the AJBWC's efforts to diversify the areas of support and economic empowerment for women in particular, to enhance their effective participation in various sectors, most notably in the rapidly growing real estate sector, and to encourage women to invest in new and innovative fields. Al Ali explained that the session provided a detailed overview of the opportunities and challenges of real estate investment, the best strategies for achieving sustainable returns, and the role of modern technology in developing the real estate sector and how to leverage it to improve performance and increase efficiency. The session initiated with a working paper entitled "From Owning Real Estate Assets to Registering Your Trademark," presented by Engineer Hajer Al Shahi, an entrepreneur and real estate consultant at the EAWE. She discussed the journey of financial independence from real estate investment to entrepreneurship, the importance of setting smart goals, successful financial management, the strong relationship between saving and investing, and real estate investment opportunities. Nasser Al Marzouqi, Director of the Real Estate Relations Regulation Department at the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, presented a working paper on the "National Broker" initiative, which is aimed at empowering young citizens to practice the real estate brokerage profession and support them as entrepreneurs and investors, as well as qualifying them and developing their knowledge of the real estate market and how to trade and the procedures followed to practice it. He emphasized that the initiative aims to increase the percentage of Emirati citizens working in the real estate sector, empower Emirati competencies, and encourage young people to start their own businesses. For her part, Latifa Issa Bin Haider, an Emirati entrepreneur and founder of the Baytukum platform, provided a comprehensive explanation of the benefits of real estate investment, including "protection against inflation, tangible assets, capital appreciation, passive income, a diversified portfolio, and intergenerational wealth." She also explained the types of returns, such as "capital gains from the appreciation of the property value and rental income," and explained the services provided by the platform. The session further witnessed a number of inspiring success stories, in addition to opening the door for discussion and exchange of ideas and experiences among participants. The attendees also emphasized the pioneering role of AJBWC in providing programs and training workshops that contribute to developing skills and discovering innovative and qualitative business and project opportunities.
