Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) is participating in the Global Women Economic Forum & Exhibition organized by the Bahrain Businesswomen's Society (BBS), which is taking place from January 12 to 15 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Global Women Economic Forum & Exhibition is witnessing wide international participation and a prominent presence from the UAE, led by H.E. Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, along with several other Emirati figures interested in entrepreneurship. Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Board Member of the Ajman Chamber and Chairwoman of AJBWC, headed the AJBWC delegation, which included Abeer Eid Al Faraj, Director of the AJBWC, and several businesswomen members. The AJBWC's participation in the Global Women Economic Forum & Exhibition aims to strengthen economic cooperation with the BBS and other international participating delegations, exchange experiences, and discuss best practices in entrepreneurship and innovation. The AJBWC also seeks to learn about the latest initiatives and developments in women's projects, as well as opportunities to empower women and enhance their contribution to supporting economic and social sustainability. Dr. Khalifa emphasized the forum's importance as a vital platform for enhancing dialogue and cooperation among businesswomen from various countries. She explained that such events contribute to empowering women, enhancing their role in supporting the economy, and innovating sustainable solutions to economic challenges, as well as diversifying their projects. She also highlighted the Forum's role in shedding light on the "orange economy" and the opportunities and projects it offers based on creativity and knowledge in the fields of culture, innovation, technology, crafts, arts, design, and more. Dr. Khalifa added, "The AJBWC delegation was keen to meet with many delegations at the forum to exchange visions, experiences, and showcase successful models of entrepreneurship, as well as explore opportunities for cooperation in organizing joint forums and exhibitions in the future." She affirmed that the AJBWC aims to intensify its participation agenda in 2025 to strengthen ties with women's councils both domestically and internationally. The Chairwoman of the AJBWC commended the excellent organization and diversity of events at the Global Women Economic Forum & Exhibition, as well as the tour of the most prominent economic and cultural institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
