The Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC)-Ajman Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society, with a vision to provide a marketing platform in the society’s branches for the products of the Council’s members who hold Bedayat license. The MoU was signed remotely by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairwoman of the AJBWC, and Sami Mohammad Sha’ban, Director General of the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society. The MoU stated introducing the “Rofoof” initiative to the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society, where the initiative’s beneficiaries will abide by the standards and conditions concerning display of products and present all required documents. It also stipulated the provision of display spaces for the products in the society’s main branches and exemption the Council’s members from registration fees. The Society will also market the members' products and provide other services and features associated with display, marketing and selling. Dr. Amna Khalifa stressed that the Ajman Businesswomen Council is keen to diversify its marketing channels to serve its members, increase their sales and encourage them to develop their investments. She also affirmed the importance of the MoU and its role in opening a marketing platform in one of the most important retail outlets in the Emirate of Ajman. She commended the efforts of the Ajman Markets Cooperative Society, as it is a primary supporter of social initiatives and a leading destination in stabilizing the prices of consumer products. “The cooperation between the AJBWC and the Society has been in place and effective since the launch of the “Rofoof” initiative, and it has culminated in the signing of this MoU to enhance the cooperation,” Dr. Amna said. For his part, Sami Sha’ban stressed that Ajman Markets Cooperative Society is keen to provide pioneering societal services in line with the goals and vision of the Society, which seeks to diversify its partnerships with government and private entities in order to provide value-added services for the emirate’s community. In addition, it aims to diversifying electronic shopping mechanisms and adopts best the practices to serve the exhibitors and shoppers in general.
