“Child Safety In Vehicles” Awareness Session At Ajbwc

The Ajman Business women Council (AJBWC) at the Ajman Chamber has organized an awareness session titled “Child Safety in Vehicles,” aimed at raising community awareness about the importance of following traffic safety measures to protect children during travel, and how to properly use child seats and seat belts to reduce risks and traffic accidents. The session was delivered by First Lieutenant Yousif Ibrahim Al Hammadi from the Ajman Police General Headquarter. The session is part of a series of courses and workshops organized by AJBWC within its approved programs and activities for 2025, aimed at raising community awareness, fostering a culture of safety and shared responsibility, in line with the objectives of the Year of Community 2025 and the Year of the Family 2026, while ensuring the safety of children and enhancing quality of life in society. The session highlighted key safety requirements and standards for children inside vehicles, the risks of not following safety measures, and demonstrated correct methods for using child seats and fastening seat belts to enhance children’s safety during travel. A set of educational videos was also presented. At the conclusion of the session, Zamzam Al Shehhi, Head of Department at the AJBWC, presented a shield of appreciation to First Lieutenant Yousif Ibrahim Al Hammadi, in recognition of his valuable efforts and participation in delivering the session and promoting awareness of traffic safety culture and child protection.
