Ajbwc Strengthens Its Partnerships With Government And Private Entities

The Chairwoman of the Ajman Businesswomen Council (AJBWC), Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, stressed the importance of partnership and cooperation between the concerned entities that support women's activities in order to integrate roles, provide services that foster their empowerment and increase their contribution to the GDP. She also commended the directives of the leadership in harnessing all ingredients and possibilities to ensure the growth and sustainability of women’s business. This came during a meeting with the delegation of the Ajman Society of Social and Cultural Development led by Mona Saqr Al Matroushi - Director General of the Society at the AJBWC’s headquarters. The two parties discussed the ways to enhance the cooperation and to increase exchange of experiences, as well as organizing joint events that serve their plans. The delegation toured the Ajman Center for Entrepreneurship to be acquainted with the investment opportunities that the Center offers to entrepreneurs along with sustainable marketing platforms for existing projects and innovative ideas. Separately, the AJBWC received a delegation from Tabyeen Psychometrics & Psychotherapy Center led by Dr. Sultana Osman - Director of the Center, to discuss the cooperation in providing training and counseling programmes for the businesswomen’s activities within the MoC between the AJBWC and the Center. During the visit, the AJBWC presented an overview of the Council's work plan for 2021 including a set of the programmes and projects aimed at developing the women's economy and encouraging their economic investments. The Council affirmed its keenness to establishing vital projects that meet the community's need and supporting innovative female entrepreneurs to increase their innovative work and the diversity of their activities. It further strives to advancing interests of businesswomen and overcoming the difficulties they face in their commercial, industrial and service businesses, in addition to providing initiatives and programmes aimed at developing their activities and converting ideas into existing enterprises. The presentation also highlighted the “Bedayat” license and types of the Council’s membership (silver, gold, platinum and honorary). The attendees were further briefed on skills and capacity development programmes offered by the Council, including forums, seminars, exhibitions, training and field visits to learn about the best practices, in addition to its efforts to strengthen partnership and cooperation with government and private entities. Furthermore, the AJBWC presented an overview of this year’s initiatives, including the Saiyarti, Ishraqa, Emirati Al Jameela, Point of Sale, Bedayat e-channel and others.
