H.E. Maher Taresh Al Alili, Member of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry praised the depth and strength of the UAE-Indian relations, affirming that the economic cooperation between the two countries shows the deep-rooted historical ties. He explained that the participation of Ajman Chamber as part of the UAE official delegation visiting the Republic of India recently under the presidency of, HE Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of Economy represents the best efforts to raise the economics of the two countries, increase the volume of the inter-trade, and monitor the opportunities of trade and investment provided by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between UAE and India. He pointed out that Ajman Chamber was keen, as part of its participation in the official visit to India, to promote the services, advantages, and facilities available in the economic environment of the emirate. He also emphasized that Ajman Chamber will be keen on informing the business owners who are members of the Chamber, about benefiting from the terms and advantages of the CEPA agreement between the UAE and India. He added, "Ajman Chamber affirms on its participation in the UAE official delegations to enhance the joint efforts in prospecting the future and forming international partnerships to establish integrated and competitive economics." The Ajman chamber board member also emphasizes the importance of the concluded partnership agreement between the two countries as it is the first comprehensive agreement signed by UAE as part of the targeted Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in order to achieve the announced strategic plans within the 'Projects of the 50'. He explained that the visit which included the attendance of more than 80 government officials, businessmen, and representatives of the private sector in the country, has provided a platform for direct communication between senior officials and business owners of both countries, and contributed to opening wider horizons to increase productivity and export opportunities to benefit from canceling or reducing customs fees provided in the CEPA agreement, In addition, they are now able to discuss how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the technology and entrepreneurship sectors, create an attractive environment for rising companies, and attract major Indian factories and companies to start their activities and establish headquarters and centers in the UAE due to the geographical location of the Gulf, African and European market. He praised the efforts of the country in enhancing international relations and partnerships with strategic markets around the world through the CEPA agreement, to enhance the leadership and position of the UAE as an international destination for the flow of trade and logistics and a central base for major international companies. He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Economy in opening foreign markets for the exports of the country, as well as introducing the advantages and facilities provided by the economy of UAE, in addition to promoting the available investment opportunities and attracting investors.
