With the aim of providing an attractive business environment characterized by competitiveness and flexibility in providing services, the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) discussed opportunities to develop and introduce proactive services as part of the second edition of the "Coffee Session" initiative. The session was attended by Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Member Support and Innovation Division at Ajman Chamber, in addition to several administration managers and Ajman Chamber employees. The session was presented by Laila Al-Saadi, chief executive of the Development and Innovation Administration. At the beginning of the session, Iman Al Shamsi, Director of Development and Innovation Department at ACCI, welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of the “Coffee Session” initiative and its role in providing a platform for the ACCI's employees to exchange views and ideas supporting the development of operations, projects, and services, in order to realize the Chamber’s strategic goals “enhancing the sustainability and growth of the business community, anticipating and creating the future of business, and diversifying the possibilities of competitiveness and leadership. The Session discussed the definition of proactive services concerned with anticipating and predicting the services needed by the customers based on their needs and preferences according to the studies and information received. The Session also reviewed the need for institutions to rely on proactive services and establish a mechanism for developing services, especially those related to economic affairs. The attendees were briefed on the ACCI's services “Membership Services, Certificates of Origin and Attestation Services, Legal Services, Ajman Conciliation and Arbitration Center Services, and Ajman Business Women Council Services.” The Session also introduced a brief description of each service, its customers, service delivery partners, and services related to the service, and reviewed a number of proactive service models in a number of UAE federal and local authorities During the meeting, the employees were given the opportunity to discuss how to transform routine services into proactive services to enhance benefits from them and diversify the ACCI's partners according to the quality and purpose of each service. It is worth noting that the ACCI seeks to organize the "Coffee Session" initiative to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and visions, support functional experiences, and access innovative services that facilitate the business environment and enhance the competitiveness of the Ajman economy to develop and sustain the businesses of the ACCI member establishments and attract new investors.
