Nasser Al-Dhafri, Executive Director of the Member Support and Innovation at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), called on business owners and traders to share their opinions and suggestions via the “Eshaar” platform (www.eshaar.ae), which is provided by the ACCI in cooperation with the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), with a view to achieving the participatory and proactive values adopted by the ACCI to ensure the growth and sustainability of the businesses of its member establishments. He stressed that the Ajman Chamber, under the directives of its Board of Directors, aims to diversify its channels of communication with the business community in Ajman, monitor their ideas and aspirations about the business environment and increase investment opportunities in Ajman, with the aim of enhancing the sustainability and growth of the business community, anticipating and creating the future of business, and enhancing the potentials of competitiveness and leadership. Al-Dhafri also explained that the "Eshaar" platform is one of the most important communication tools between the Ajman Chamber and its member establishments to identify and study the existing and potential economic challenges and to develop appropriate solutions in cooperation with the federal and local concerned authorities. He added, "The Platform is a key tool for anticipating the trends and aspirations of companies and factories around the targeted foreign markets and international exhibitions that support the development of exports. The Platform's input also contributes to developing and improving Ajman Chamber services and creating new services that match the aspirations of business owners, which enhances the competitiveness of the Ajman economy, and its local and international position as an attractive destination for investment and supportive of the sustainability of private enterprises." For his part, Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Relations and Members Support Office, expressed that the "Eshaar" platform received from the beginning of 2022 more than 25 notifications through the platform, so that all received notifications were followed up and considered and appropriate measures were taken according to the type of proposal or challenge, in cooperation with the concerned authority, whether the federal or local authority. He explained that the "Eshaar" reflects the message of the Ajman Chamber concerned with representing and protecting the interests of the Ajman business community and achieving sustainable future growth. Al Nuaimi indicated that the Platform is intended to enhance the effective participation of the private sector in formulating economic policies to ensure the facilitation of trade flow and business development, and the development of an attractive business environment to maintain the growth and sustainability of business and attract investments. It also seeks to achieve proactiveness in keeping up with the latest developments in legislation and regulations that affect various business sectors, effectively expressing opinions on legislation in accordance with the needs and requirements of the private sector, and maximizing the highest levels of caring for the interests of members.
