H.E. Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the efforts of the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) in developing the national economy by providing an encouraging business environment that attracts investments and keeps pace with the aspirations of business owners and investors. He stressed that the integration of the services of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry with the federal and local authorities concerned with economic affairs contributes directly to achieving the directions of the UAE and "The Principles of the 50" to build the best and most active economy in the world. This came during his reception of H.E. Hamid Mohammed Bin Salem, Secretary-General of the FCCI, at the headquarters of the Ajman Chamber, in the presence of Abdullah Omar Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the Membership Transactions and Legal Services, H.E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji added, "The FCCI provides a comprehensive platform to enhance partnership and cooperation between the UAE chambers of commerce and industry and its counterparts from around the world to build relationships and exchange experiences, best practices and services. It also contributes to enhancing the international presence of chambers of commerce and the private sector in international forums and events." During the meeting, H.E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji and H.E. Hamid Mohammed bin Salem were briefed on the initial plans for the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the FCCI, which is to be established in Dubai, with introducing an overview of the departments and facilities included in the building, as well as the halls for meetings and events, and receiving economic and commercial delegations from other countries. The attendees stressed the need for the building to be provided by the latest services and have a modern design to contribute to creating an encouraging and stimulating work environment. The Chairman of the Ajman Chamber directed the re-arrangement of the spaces of the FCCI building to include a meeting room and a space to receive FCCI members in periodic meetings, as well as organizing the relationship between the space of the FCCI President and the Secretary-General, and taking into account the accompanying services, such as parking to suffice visitors to the FCCI headquarters, whether during the periodic meetings or visits. It is worth mentioning that the FCCI, since its inception, has an effective contribution to developing and consolidating the role of the UAE as a distinguished global center for trade, industry, finance and investment, given that the business sector and service upgrading directly contribute to sustainable development and support the process of construction and growth.
