H. E. Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), visited the ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort, located in the heart of Al Zorah area in Ajman, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the ACCI. The visit included a tour of the Resort’s suites and departments and a review of the services and treatment programs provided by the Resort as it is the first five-star health resort in the Middle East and Africa with international specifications and standards. The Saudi entrepreneur Mohamad Ameer Said, founder of ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort, received the ACCI’s delegation. The visit was attended from the Ajman Chamber by: Nasser Al-Dhafri, Executive Director of the Member Support and Innovation, and Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Trade Development and International Relations, and Marwan Hareb, Director of the Promotion and International Relations, along with a number of the Resort officials. H. E. Abdullah Al Muwaiji praised the geographical location of the Resort in the heart of Al Zorah area as the most prominent and active tourist and real estate destination in the Ajman and an attraction point for investors, owners, and entrepreneurs. He stressed that Ajman has distinguished services, facilities, and various components, in addition to its mediation between the UAE emirates and its proximity to airports, which serves customers and visitors of the Resort from inside and outside the country. He added, "Investment in the health and education sectors is one of the priorities of the UAE in general, and Ajman in particular, because of its positive effects and consequences on the economic and social levels, and the practice and continuity of such activities is an urgent necessity that requires all parties to provide all kinds of possible support and facilities." Al Muwaiji confirmed that the ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort is a good model for the excellent projects located in the emirate of Ajman, which enhance the Emirate’s competitiveness as an exceptional destination for business and tourism, especially since the Resort was established on an integrated and comprehensive scientific basis. He explained that the Emirate’s directions in developing health and wellness tourism, encourage investors to start up health projects with international standards in Ajman, which directly contributed to the development of the tourism and health sectors in Ajman. He also asserted the importance of the health resorts and their positive impact on the individual and society, explaining that the development of the health sector reflects positively on the growth and development of the economic sector. Moreover, the Ajman Chamber encourages diversification of investments and attracts pioneering projects that contribute to improving the quality of life and achieving the Ajman Vision. For his part, Mohamad Ameer Said, thanked the Ajman Government for the facilities and support provided by them to investors. The attendees were briefed an overview of the Resort’s departments, suites, and healthcare services that adopt the highest international standards and specifications in methods of treatment and hospitalization, in addition to the services provided by the Resort, including integrative and holistic techniques of balance and rejuvenation, with a range of treatments combined to create personalized journeys of wellness, detoxing, and therapeutic fasting along with physiotherapy, aesthetic medicine, and healthy nutrition.
