Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Relations and Members Support Office at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), affirmed the importance of the availability of data and statistics and their role in achieving proactivity, anticipating opportunities, and readiness for the future, in a manner that directly supports the growth of the economic sector and enhances the development and sustainability of the business community. He stated that the Ajman Chamber is under the direct supervision of the Board of Directors, and seeks to provide reliable channels for data and information which are comprehensive, quality, and easy to navigate. This is being completed in cooperation with its strategic partners, as it provides the "Foras" platform in cooperation with the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI). The platform aims to develop exports of local products and discover export opportunities worldwide. The platform also enhances opportunities for cooperation and partnership between business owners from within the UAE with their counterparts around the world. Abdullah Al-Nuaimi added, "The platform allows conducting economic analytics to choose the most appropriate markets for products, which saves time and effort and enhances the ease of making the appropriate decision to increase production and help the local products reach new markets, especially since the platform enables business owners to download commercial data supported by the International Trade Center's trade map ". He noted that the "Foras" platform is available on the website "uaechambers.com " in four languages "Arabic, English, French, and Spanish." The platform provides comprehensive data and information about exports and imports between the UAE and the countries of the world. The platform also depends on the classification of goods, export growth rates, and the volume of foreign markets according to the statistics of imports of all countries of the world for various types of products as per the global classification of HS Code for product coding. Al-Nuaimi added that the Ajman Chamber is actively seeking to increase the volume of exports of private sector establishments by strengthening economic relations with embassies, consulates, and commercial centers from countries of the world, in addition to organizing forums to monitor opportunities for cooperation and partnership and develop intra-trade, especially since the Emirate of Ajman is characterized by a pioneering industrial sector in many fields.
