Eman Al Shamsi, Director of the Development and Innovation Department and Head of the Innovation Month Activities Team at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), stressed the importance of the "UAE Innovation Month" and its various activities that reflect the UAE efforts to support the comprehensive development process by relying on innovation and enhancing its role in developing all sectors and services, in addition to encouraging creative national cadres and celebrating innovating persons, talents, and inventors. Al Shamsi stated that the Ajman Chamber, in conjunction with the UAE Innovation Month, is keen to hold a set of events and workshops addressing the Ajman Chamber's employees and its member establishments, as well as community members, with a view to establishing an innovative participatory approach that enhances the improvement of the quality of life and achieves the goals of the Ajman Chamber through the development of services and the provision of proactive initiatives and services that exceed its member expectations. She indicated that the Ajman Chamber organized, within the program of its activities during the UAE Month of Innovation, the training program (Metalab Innovation Laboratory) over two days, in the presence of its employees, to learn about the latest technologies of Metaverse, virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI), and mechanisms for benefiting from modern technologies in the work environment and its impact on the quality of services and the development of new services. The program had also a set of workshops and interactive sessions between participants on the basis of developing innovative solutions to challenges and opportunities to improve services based on technology. The Ajman Chamber also organized a workshop entitled "Foresight of the Future of Business 2071" in the presence of Nasser Al Dhafri, the Executive Director of the Member Support and Innovation at Ajman Chamber, and with the participation of the Ajman Chamber's employees, employees of government agencies and private sector establishments that are members of the Ajman Chamber. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of foreseeing the future and the latest mechanisms followed in this field, and how to monitor and analyze challenges, deal with them, and develop appropriate solutions for them. Eman Al Shamsi stated that the Ajman Chamber, in cooperation with the Ajman Business Women Council, participated in the activities of the "DEMO DAY" exhibition, which was organized by Ajman University with the wide participation of government and private agencies to review the best innovations and distinguished practices in the field of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as well as the participation of students representing innovative ideas and patents. Moreover, the Ajman Chamber organized a training workshop entitled "How to Prepare for Business in the Metaverse", which is directed to the community with the aim of introducing modern technologies and how to benefit from them to improve the quality of life, in addition to organizing "Innovation Lab 2", which is to educate students about the importance of innovation and the mechanisms of its application in all fields.
