As a part of the efforts made by the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility (Ajman CSR), a part of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), to encourage economic establishments to adopt social responsibility and the standards and requirements of sustainable development and to intensify its efforts in cooperation with its partners with a view to implementing qualitative initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, the Ajman CSR, in cooperation with the Ajman Transport Authority and the Ajman China Mall, implemented the "Distributing Iftar Meals" initiative, where more than 600 Iftar meals were distributed to taxi drivers, Speed Vehicle Inspection and Registration Center examiners, public transport bus drivers and concession company drivers. The initiative was attended by H.E. Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of the Transport Authority, Mohammed Al Muhairi, Director of the Center of Communication and Customer Happiness at the Ajman Chamber, Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Relations and Members Support Office at Ajman Chamber, and Luo Feng, General Manager of Ajman China Mall. Nasser Al Dhafri, CEO of the Ajman CSR, praised the extent of the awareness and contribution of private sector institutions in the field of social responsibility and the implementation of initiatives and projects that reflect the development of the field of social responsibility in the business community, stressing that the Ajman CSR seeks to increase the list of its partnerships from government and private entities and the public interest in order to implement initiatives that benefit in the quality of life and happiness of the individual and society. He stated that the Ajman CSR's main directions revolve around coordination between the business sector and other sectors to ensure the unification of efforts and optimal utilization of resources in a way that guarantees the greatest benefit to all, and awareness of the importance of social responsibility practices by holding joint meetings to define the effects of these practices and their role in the sustainability and business growth.
