Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) participates as part of the UAE economic delegation during an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, headed by H.E. Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, over the course of the 30th and 31st of this October 2023. Ajman Chamber is represented by H.E. Mahmoud Othman Abu Al Shawareb, Member of the Board of Ajman Chamber, who expressed the importance of participation and its role in opening promising horizons for developing the volume of trade between the two countries and exploring investment opportunities in sectors of common interest. He praised the depth and strength of relations between the UAE and Turkey and the extent of cooperation between the governments of the two countries for more than fifty years, pointing to the growth and development of economic cooperation between the two countries which reach to the best levels, especially after the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries. He also praised the strong economic relations between the Emirate of Ajman and Turkey, which reflects the increase in the number of the Turkish members registered in the Ajman Chamber by 18% during the year 2022 compared to the year 2021. Al Shawareb stressed that the Ajman Chamber is intensifying its efforts during the current year to diversify its foreign visits in cooperation with federal and local authorities in support of achieving its strategic goal of developing a network of renewed global economic relations that supports expansion and business development opportunities and promotes the emirate as an ideal destination for investment.
