Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union and Ruler of Ajman, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, today inaugurated the 11th edition of the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition (AETEX 2024), organized by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education and with extensive local, Gulf and international participation, including more than 50 universities and educational institutions. The AETEX, which is held at the Emirates Hospitality Center in Al Jurf area - Ajman and will last for three days, serves as an incubation platform for higher education institutions and universities from across the globe seeking to engage with students from various emirates to introduce their programs, majors, as well as the facilitations offered to students during the registration and enrollment processes. Whether pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies, students can gain insights into the latest advancements, best practices, and cutting-edge educational tools. Additionally, the AETEX fosters avenues for collaboration and knowledge exchange between local, Arab, and foreign universities. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi commended the efforts of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, "May Allah protect him,” and to his brother H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, "May Allah protect him," for their continuous support of education and its institutions, and their unwavering belief in the significant role played by scholars, innovators, and distinguished individuals in various fields. He said that since its inception under the leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May Allah rest his soul, the United Arab Emirates has placed the highest priority on investing in its national human capital, recognizing it as the key to comprehensive development and ensuring a more prosperous, stable, and sustainable future. This commitment has reinforced the UAE's positive image as a nation renowned for its developmental and educational advancements. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid added that the Emirate of Ajman has emerged as a towering beacon of higher education and a model of leadership and innovation, thanks to its distinguished institutions of higher learning and towering edifices dedicated to building generations. This remarkable progress is attributed to the profound vision, astute guidance, and unwavering support for the education and knowledge sectors provided by H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union and Ruler of Ajman, and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi commenced the opening ceremony of the AETEX with an inspection tour of the AETEX halls and pavilions. During this tour, Sheikh Rashid was introduced to the most important programs and majors offered by the participating universities to students, highlighting their commitment to keeping pace with cutting-edge educational methods and programs. Sheikh Rashid was accompanied by a number of sheikhs, officials, and H.E. Abdullah Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with members of the Board of Directors and the organizing committee. Additionally, Sheikh Rashid, during the tour, explored the cutting-edge educational technologies and academic programs offered by the participating pavilions that are designed to meet the labor market requirements and assist students in selecting majors that align with their aspirations. He also attended a comprehensive presentation by the organizers of the AETEX and participants, covering the most important advancements in education and the facilitations offered by higher education institutions to those aspiring to be enrolled in them. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid invited students, parents, and employees of government and private agencies to benefit from the AETEX, which has become an international academic forum that transfers expertise from various countries around the world and introduces the educational opportunities and privileges offered by the participating universities, fulfilling the aspirations of students to select the best higher education options. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid commended the high level of organization and excellence demonstrated by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the efforts of the organizers of the AETEX, and honored a number of universities, educational institutions, strategic partners, and exhibitors at the conclusion of his inspection tour. The opening ceremony of the AETEX was attended by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Citizens Affairs Office, and several sheikhs and senior officials.
