Academic And Training Collaboration Between Ajman Chamber And City University Ajman

In a move to promote academic collaboration and deliver high-quality services that align with their shared goals and visions, the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with City University Ajman (CU Ajman). The MoU was signed by His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of ACCI, and His Excellency Imran Khan, President of the CU Ajman. During the activities of the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition (AETEX 2024), the MoU was signed in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the ACCI, and Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the AETEX 2024’s activities. The MoU emphasizes the significance of fostering academic collaboration and providing high-quality services that align with the goals of both parties. It was agreed upon to organize specialized training courses, offer support in research and studies, provide grants and discounts for undergraduate and graduate programs, and facilitate opportunities for training university students at the ACCI and exchanging expertise and best practices. H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi affirmed the ACCI's commitment to renewing and diversifying its partnerships with all government and private entities, as the MoU serves as one of the ACCI's tools for enhancing its academic cooperation with pioneering universities. This alliance aims to encourage employees and their families to develop and enhance their knowledge, facilitate university education, leverage the expertise of faculty members in collaborative research and development across various fields, and organize specialized workshops, seminars, and professional training courses. H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi commended the development of CU Ajman, highlighting the diversity of academic majors offered and their alignment with the demands of the labor market. He also expressed admiration for the efforts of CU Ajman's senior management and their unwavering support for ensuring the continued success of the AETEX, as well as for advancing the educational process in the Emirate and the UAE. For its part, Imran Khan emphasized that the MoU between the CU Ajman and the ACCI is a testament to their enduring relations. He stated that this collaboration between both parties aligns with CU Ajman's strategic goal of fostering relations with the community and its institutions and providing value-added services to its partners. For its part, Imran Khan further elaborated that CU Ajman seeks to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, provide academic programs that align with the demands of the labor market, continuously improve the effectiveness and quality of the educational environment, and foster a culture of scientific research.
