Ajman Chamber's “Strategic Retreat”, A Major Milestone For Formulating 2030 Strategic Features

The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) organized the Strategic Retreat to adopt its strategic features for the years (2024-2030), in support of embodying and keeping pace with the national vision “We the UAE 2031” and the Ajman Vision 2030. The Ajman Chamber developed and launched its strategic plan to enhance its pioneering role in the development and growth of the local economy and its contribution to achieving sustainable development in the emirate. The Ajman Chamber also aims to keep pace with the successive developments witnessed by the economic and investment environment in Ajman and expand its network of partnerships with the government and private sectors, in addition to launching quality projects, initiatives, and services. The Strategic Retreat, held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, was attended by H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, Second Vice Chairman, and the Ajman Chamber Board of Directors members, H.E. Salem Al-Suwaidi, Director-General, in addition to the Ajman Chamber cadres, employees, and members of the Ajman Chamber Youth Council. The Strategic Retreat's agenda included presenting the outcomes of the Strategic Plan Modernization project's first phase and distinguished countries' pioneering experiences and practices. The strategic plan elements, “Vision - Mission - Institutional Values - Strategic Goals”, were also presented. The Strategic Retreat included a group of sessions and workshops to develop ideas and recommendations supporting the Ajman Chamber’s future work process. Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of the Strategic Retreat, which is one of the main steps for developing and formulating the strategic plan for the coming years, and its role in sharing ideas and visions, anticipating the future, and formulating the main features of the Ajman Chamber’s strategy and its path to keep pace with the approaches of the state and the emirate. He said: "The strategic plans are the main driver of long-term institutional work. We lay solid foundations through the strategic plan project of the Ajman Chamber that contribute to strengthening its position as a major driver of growth and economic development in our dear emirate." He also explained that the Strategic Retreat and its sessions will be a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and visions and determine future steps that will contribute to achieving the Ajman Chamber’s goals and objectives. He added: "At Ajman Chamber, we seek to implement the best global business models and enhance empowerment tools to achieve leadership levels in supporting the business community, facilitating business in the emirate, and attracting investments in order to achieve a flexible and innovative institutional system based on partnership and integration with government agencies and private sector institutions in the emirate." He stressed that the UAE, with the support of its wise leadership, was able to strengthen the country’s leading position on the global map due to its competitive capabilities. He said that they look forward today in the Retreat to consolidating this leadership and actively contributing to the process of sustainable development at the level of the emirate. He added that they also seek through the strategic plan to focus on transformative and qualitative projects to accomplish exceptional achievements that are in line with the work requirements of modern chambers of commerce, “new business models - strong community impact - transformational leadership.”
