H.E. Eng. Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), said that "The economic and investment relations between the UAE and Indonesia are witnessing an advanced stage of growth and prosperity under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which provides qualitative advantages that ensure the ease and growth of trade exchange between the two countries, with the total trade between the two countries rising by 7.3% during 2023. This agreement also supports the development of investments in sectors such as 'agriculture, infrastructure, energy, logistics services, tourism, health, and entrepreneurship', in addition to the opportunities it provides for cooperation and partnership in the Islamic economic sectors, which are expected to grow globally to $3.2 trillion during the current year." "The Emirate of Ajman is keen to facilitate doing business and attract Indonesian investors to the Emirate, and the Ajman Chamber is establishing its pioneering role in developing and attracting Indonesian investments in particular, through organizing forums, receiving trade delegations, and participating in specialized exhibitions and events. Statistics indicate that the membership of the Ajman Chamber from Indonesian nationality has grown to 71% during 2023 compared to 2022."
