Ajman Chamber celebrated the UAE's 53rd Union Day with a variety of events and competitions that symbolize the values of unity, the spirit of the union, identity and national values and reflect the achievements of the nation. The celebration was attended by H.E. Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber, members of the Board of Directors, H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General, Ajman Chamber employees, and a number of dignitaries and business owners, at Thara Center for Entrepreneurship. The celebration began with the UAE national anthem, and included a group of activities that reflect the spirit of unity and belonging, in addition to an exhibition of products of people of determination and heritage products. Al Suwaidi said, "Union Day is a national occasion that symbolizes the values of union and solidarity, and reminds us of the founding fathers who laid the foundations of the union with their wisdom and insightful vision. They are the ones who laid the first brick in establishing a country that has become the focus of the world and a pioneer in all fields. It is a national occasion in which we renew our loyalty to wise leadership and our pledge to continue working with dedication and sincerity." He also stressed that since its inception, Ajman Chamber has sought to enhance its role as a main driver for supporting and developing the economic sector in Ajman and has been keen on developing and thriving the private sector. It also has taken upon itself the responsibility of representing and supporting business owners, and investors, and has launched innovative projects and initiatives to achieve its goals and vision that are in line with the vision of the emirate of Ajman. H.E. Hamad Taryam Al Shamsi, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Ajman, provided an overview of the developments in the health sector in the UAE, in general, and Ajman, in particular, since the beginning of the Union’s journey. He also reviewed the UAE efforts to continue its journey towards the future with an ambitious vision to improve the quality of life and enhance its position as one of the best countries in providing advanced and sustainable healthcare. H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, a businessman, said, “Since the establishment of the Union, the UAE has achieved and continues to achieve amazing economic leaps that have made it a global model for sustainable development and economic diversification due to the wise leadership and the national cadres of the sons and daughters of the nation.” Al Nuaimi stressed that the UAE has proven its leadership in anticipating the future and enhancing its position as a global economic hub, so that economic diversification plans have succeeded in developing vital sectors such as advanced industries, technology, renewable energy, tourism, space, agriculture, and other sectors, while providing a flexible and attractive investment environment guaranteed by an integrated legislative environment. Mohammed Omar Al Shammari said, "The education sector is one of the most prominent pillars of the country's progress and development. Since the founding of the Union, the UAE has focused on providing education for all, establishing schools, universities, and educational institutions across the country, while adhering to international standards of quality and academic excellence." The country has also developed innovative programs to encourage scientific research and attract global talents, so that our country can succeed in building generations capable of leading the present, anticipating the future, and contributing to strengthening the UAE's position as a leading destination in science and knowledge. During the ceremony, Al Muwaiji honored the sectors of the Ajman Chamber that won the organization of the Union Day celebrations, "Member Support Services Sector, Thara Center for Entrepreneurship, Support Services Sector, and Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC)." At the end of the celebration, the attendees toured the accompanying exhibition for people of determination.
