Ajman Chamber Joins Verona Eurasian Economic Forum In Ras Al Khaimah

Ajman Chamber is participating in the XVII Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in Ras Al Khaimah to strengthen international partnerships, promote investment prospects, and discuss horizons of cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, financial technology, innovation and artificial intelligence, infrastructure, agriculture and food security, youth empowerment, education, and health. H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of Ajman Chamber, will represent Ajman Chamber in the forum's activities. The forum, hosted for the first time in the Middle East, has also welcomed Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Government Communication Department at Ajman Chamber, at Al Hamra International Exhibition and Conference Center in Ras Al Khaimah. The two-day event witnessed a notable presence of government officials, diplomats, private sector leaders, investors, and experts from Asia and Europe, who gathered to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Eurasian countries. H.E. Sheikh Sultan Al Nuaimi stated that the Ajman Chamber’s participation in the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum reflects the Ajman Chamber's efforts to build partnerships and strengthen cooperative relations, ultimately contributing to the economic growth of Ajman. He emphasized the importance of expanding investment and trade exchanges with global markets, stressing the value of exchanging experiences and best practices. Furthermore, he highlighted the role of promoting Ajman as a competitive and leading economic and investment hub in sectors such as industry, tourism, trade, education, health, services, real estate, building and construction, and others. The forum featured a series of specialized sessions, focusing on the UAE’s economic role as a major gateway connecting East and West. It highlighted the country’s position as a global center for trade and investment, emphasizing its infrastructure and logistics services in promoting international trade, as well as the UAE government’s efforts to implement economic policies that stimulate and support innovation and the growth and sustainability of private sector businesses. The working papers also addressed the pivotal role of energy, exploring ways to develop mutual investments in this vital sector, which is undergoing significant transformations with renewable energy sources and sustainable technologies. Participants discussed opportunities for cooperation in the development of energy infrastructure projects. Furthermore, the working papers explored 'information technology and the impact of innovation and artificial intelligence in enhancing production efficiency, improving service quality across various economic sectors, and opening new avenues for cooperation between participating countries and economic institutions under the forum’s umbrella.' The forum highlighted the latest developments in financial technology and its role in facilitating banking operations, enhancing the efficiency of financial systems, and boosting intra-country trade. It also explored opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, food, and water security, especially in light of global advancements in agriculture. Participants discussed the importance of youth empowerment, as well as the role of health and education in building sustainable economies and prosperous societies. During the forum, the Ajman Chamber delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of economic institutions and international companies, focusing on strengthening trade relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in strategic sectors. This reflected the Ajman Chamber's commitment to attracting investments and supporting development projects in the emirate to achieve Ajman Vision 2030.
