A delegation from Ajman Chamber visited Dubai Chambers to enhance cooperation and explore the best practices and expertise in providing legal services, as well as the latest methods of dispute resolution and commercial mediation. This visit aims to ensure that the Ajman Chamber keeps up with the latest legal services that support a sustainable business environment for the private sector. The Ajman Chamber delegation, which included Hindi Obaid Al Matrooshi, Acting Director of the Legal Affairs Department, and Moataz Kholief, Legal Advisor at Ajman Chamber, was received at the Dubai Chamber headquarters by Yazeed Salah, Director of Strategy and Excellence, and Taghrid Alsharif, General Counsel - Legal Affairs Office. Also present were Fatima Al Hashemi, Senior Manager of Customer Service, Yassin Mohammed, Senior Legal Advisor, and Maitha Al Marzooqi, Excellence Executive at the Strategy and Excellence Department in Dubai Chamber. The meeting reviewed the key legal services provided by Dubai Chamber, including the customer journey in commercial mediation services, the procedures followed from registration to the issuance of a decision, the work procedures of mediation specialists, the programs and systems applied in commercial mediation services, an overview of the contract management program, the mechanism for registering Dubai Chamber as an accredited mediator with the Dubai Courts, and the mechanism for registering a legal advisor as an accredited mediator. The attendees also discussed the vital role of technology and modern techniques in improving the quality of legal services and consultations. The meeting recommended the need to strengthen bilateral coordination in the future to implement joint programs and events aimed at enhancing the efficiency of those working in the legal sector and commercial mediation. This is in line with global best practices. Additionally, specialized legal seminars were proposed to raise awareness among business owners and investors. For his part, Al Matrooshi commended the quality and diversity of the legal services provided by Dubai Chamber to its members from the private sector, emphasizing the importance of the meeting in strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences between Dubai and Ajman Chambers. Al Matrooshi also stressed that the rapid developments in the economic sector and the momentum of investments require chambers of commerce to develop their legal services and raise awareness among the private sector. This is seen as a fundamental pillar in building a stable and sustainable business environment that guarantees the rights and interests of all parties and addresses any potential challenges.
