The Ajman Chamber and the Ajman Business Women Council (AJBWC) recently received a delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt. The visit aimed to discuss joint cooperation and exchange experiences in various economic and investment fields, discuss ways to support and empower women entrepreneurs from both countries, identify opportunities to promote innovation and technology in start-up projects, and open new horizons for developing cooperation and partnerships between business owners in the two countries. The Egyptian delegation was welcomed by Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Board Member of the Ajman Chamber and Chairwoman of the AJBWC, along with Eng. Aisha Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairwoman of the AJBWC, and other AJBWC members. The delegation was headed by Dr. Solaf Hussein Darwish, Undersecretary of the Manpower Committee in the Egyptian Parliament. The meeting took place at the AJBWC headquarters in Ajman and was attended by several officials, including Hissa Obaid Al Tunaiji, Secretary of the Coordination Association of Professional Associations in the UAE. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Amna Khalifa welcomed the delegation, praising the strong brotherly relations between the two nations at both leadership and public levels. She emphasized the importance of the meeting in capitalizing on the numerous opportunities and potentials that contribute to strengthening cooperation, establishing sustainable channels for knowledge exchange and best practices, and positively impacting economic and investment development. During the meeting, the Ajman Chamber presented a comprehensive overview of the potential and investment opportunities in the emirate of Ajman. The presentation highlighted Ajman's strategic geographic location, its position among other UAE emirates, investor-friendly incentives and policies, and Ajman's advanced global rankings in ease of doing business. The AJBWC also provided insights into its vision and mission to encourage women's economic investments, support their initiatives to engage in freelance work, implement programs for women's economic development, provide appropriate training and qualifications to grow their businesses and develop their projects, while adhering to the culture and values of the society. This meeting also recommended the necessity of establishing a continuous communication channel between the two parties to organize joint exhibitions and forums, facilitate the exchange of event agendas, and coordinate a visit by a delegation from the AJBWC to the Arab Republic of Egypt. Furthermore, the meeting emphasized the importance of developing joint training programs to qualify and empower businesswomen in both countries. At the end of the meeting, commemorative shields and gifts were exchanged between the two parties.
