The Ajman Chamber has participated in the Second International Conference on Media and Mass Communication, organized by City University Ajman (CUA). The conference aimed to explore the current landscape and future of media as a central driver in societal development and the reinforcement of national identity, while highlighting the challenges confronting the media industry. The event was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Nuaimi; H.E. Mahmood Othman Abu Al Shawareb, Member of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber; H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber; H.E. Imran Khan, President of CUA; Abdullah Omar Al Marzouqi, Director of the Office of Ajman Chamber’s Chairman of the Board of Directors; along with a distinguished group of media professionals and academics. The Ajman Chamber’s participation reaffirmed its role as a supporter of academic and community activities that contribute to the development of various sectors—particularly the economic sector. The conference featured a series of sessions, research presentations, and working papers addressing the challenges facing the media industry, and explored ways to enhance its effectiveness and keep pace with rapid technological advancements. On the sidelines of the conference, Abu Al Shawareb and Al Suwaidi, accompanied by Imran Khan, conducted an inspection tour to review CUA’s facilities and academic resources. The tour included visits to several classrooms, modern laboratories, and an overview of CUA’s most prominent initiatives.
