Ajman Chamber has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thumbay Group, aiming to foster joint cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare. This initiative seeks to build a robust relationship framework between Ajman Chamber's private sector member establishments and the Thumbay Group. The MoU outlines a range of benefits, including scholarships, training and employment opportunities, and special discounts on medical services. It also encompasses the organization of health awareness initiatives and programs targeting employees of Ajman Chamber, private sector personnel, and the wider community in Ajman. The MoU was signed by H.E. Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, and Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder and President of Thumbay Group, at the Thara Entrepreneurship Hub. Al Suwaidi stated, "Ajman Chamber is committed to diversifying its strategic partnerships with various governmental and private entities. This commitment embodies Ajman Chamber's vision to support the business community and achieve its strategic objective of building partnerships and developing cooperative relationships to foster economic growth in the emirate." He further emphasized that the partnership between the Ajman Chamber and Thumbay Group plays a pivotal role in delivering qualitative initiatives that enhance service quality and support the empowerment of national cadres, thereby aligning with Ajman Chamber's vision and objectives, which are consistent with Ajman Vision 2030. For his part, Dr. Moideen affirmed Thumbay Group's dedication to driving innovation in healthcare, education, and scientific research through pioneering strategic partnerships. He highlighted the significance of public-private sector collaboration in achieving a long-term impact on the knowledge and health economy in the UAE. "This MoU reinforces the role of Thumbay Group and Gulf Medical University as key drivers of economic and social progress in Ajman and across the UAE," Dr. Moideen added. The MoU explicitly stipulates enhanced cooperation between Ajman Chamber and Thumbay Group in education and healthcare. In the education sector, this collaboration includes Gulf Medical University (GMU) offering a full scholarship to UAE nationals who meet admission criteria for Bachelor's programs in Healthcare Economics at the Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare. Furthermore, the MoU designates Ajman Chamber as a liaison between the GMU and its private sector member establishments. This aims to facilitate field training and employment opportunities for the GMU's students and graduates, which contributes to the support and empowerment of national cadres and enhances their readiness to enter the modern healthcare job market. In the healthcare sector, both parties have agreed that Thumbay Group will provide special discounts on radiology and laboratory services for Ajman Chamber member companies and factories. This also includes organizing a series of health camps, blood donation campaigns, and medical and awareness seminars and conferences. These initiatives are designed to promote health awareness and support the well-being of private sector employees. Additionally, Body & Soul Club will offer a range of services and discounts to Ajman Chamber members and employees.
