The Education Sector Business Groups at the Ajman Chamber held their inaugural meeting to discuss work progress and future priorities. The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration among educational institutions in the emirate to enhance the group's role in supporting the education sector and contributing to the development of a sustainable educational environment that aligns with the emirate's aspirations and the Ajman 2030 Vision. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Karim Seghir, Head of the Education Sector Business Groups and Chancellor of Ajman University. It was attended by Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector; Jamila Kajoor Al Nuaimi, Director of Member Relations and Support at the Ajman Chamber; and group members, including officials and representatives from educational institutions in Ajman. The meeting addressed the Education Sector Business Groups' objectives and their function as a platform for identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and launching initiatives to support the educational environment. This platform aims to increase the education sector's involvement in shaping comprehensive development trends and ensure efforts are aligned with the emirate's vision and strategic goals. Dr. Karim Seghir emphasized that the education sector is a vital and high-priority area, noting its rapid growth due to the government's focus on enhancing quality of life and developing educational institutions. He commended Ajman for its universities and schools that adhere to best educational practices and contribute to preparing a qualified generation to support the development process. Mohamed Al Janahi stated, "The education sector is a fundamental pillar of comprehensive development and quality of life. The formation of the Education Sector Business Groups is part of the Chamber's efforts to empower and sustain the education sector and its institutions, foster investment growth, and enhance its role in service development and business environment support, in line with the emirate's directives and the principles of reducing government bureaucracy." Jamila Kajoor Al Nuaimi explained that the business groups for the health, education, and industry sectors at the Ajman Chamber provide a sustainable platform for strengthening communication and integration between the Chamber and its member establishments. This collaboration aims to support the business environment and develop these sectors, which are key pillars of Ajman's economy. Attendees recommended holding regular meetings to ensure continuous progress, unify efforts, and enhance the outcomes of the working groups to serve the education sector's objectives. They also praised the Ajman Chamber's role in supporting the educational environment and strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors.
