Ajman Chamber's Healthcare Business Groups Discuss The Mechanism For The Next Phase

The Ajman Chamber's Healthcare Business Groups have begun their work by holding a coordination meeting to discuss operational progress and priorities for the next phase. The objective is to achieve the goals of the business groups, contribute to enhancing Ajman position as a leading center for healthcare investment, and support the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 by advancing both the economic and healthcare sectors and providing an attractive environment for investors. The meeting, held at Thumbay University Hospital in Ajman, was attended by Akbar Moideen, Chairman of the Healthcare Business Groups and Vice President of the Thumbay Group; Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector; and members of the Group, who are officials and representatives from various health and medical centers in Ajman. The discussion covered the role and objectives of the Healthcare Business Groups, opportunities to support innovation, and the adoption of global best practices in medical services. These measures are intended to raise the efficiency of the healthcare sector, foster a competitive and sustainable work environment, and unify efforts among hospitals and medical centers to strengthen Ajman's reputation as a prime destination for healthcare investments and medical tourism. Akbar Moideen explained that the Healthcare Business Groups will work on launching qualitative initiatives, enhancing collaboration between medical universities and hospitals in Ajman, and formulating practical solutions to help develop and improve the healthcare sector in Ajman. This will boost its competitiveness and elevate the emirate’s healthcare system. He added, "Ajman's healthcare sector is a vital one, especially since Ajman is home to many specialized hospitals and medical centers, in addition to medical colleges and academic institutions with a good reputation locally, regionally, and internationally." For his part, Mohamed Ali Al Janahi underscored the importance of the business groups affiliated with the Ajman Chamber, considering them a strategic platform for fostering communication and integration between the Chamber and various economic sectors. He explained that these groups are a fundamental pillar for achieving the goals of Ajman Vision 2030 and align with the Chamber's and the emirate's directives while also upholding the principles of 'Zero Government Bureaucracy'. He stated, "The healthcare sector is one of the most prominent vital sectors in Ajman. It plays an essential role in supporting the economy and enhancing the quality of life for the community, and it represents a fertile environment for investment and innovation." The participants recommended the importance of holding periodic meetings to ensure the follow-up of work progress and to coordinate efforts among the members of the business groups with the goal of supporting and developing the healthcare sector.
