The Virtual Edition Of Aetex-2021 Sees Remarkable Success

The organizing committee for the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition 2021 (AETEX) confirmed the success of the virtual edition of the exhibition that was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. It witnessed great turnout of visitors that reached more than 2,500 from students, parents, and those looking to complete their university and postgraduate studies. Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi, vice-chairman of the organising committee, asserted success of the virtual exhibition, which relied on realistic simulation and direct communication between representatives of the participating institutions and visitors. The universities were keen to interact with visitors by sending information about what they provide from academic disciplines that keep pace with the labour market requirements. He continued, “The exhibition presented a number of specialized workshops under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education and in cooperation with a number of government and private entities that focusing on the importance of technical education, future job opportunities and academic specializations related to the management and implementation of SMEs”. The visitors were able to attend the workshops via the electronic platform the exhibition. Abdullah Al Nuaimi emphasized the distinction and sustainability of the virtual edition of AETEX after the end of the exhibition's activities. The electronic platform allows visiting at any time to know about the participating institutions and their most prominent disciplines, in addition to viewing the workshop archive, he added. He further commended the existing cooperation with the Ministry of Education, emphasizing the role played by AETEX in providing a direct communication channel between students and higher education institutions from inside and outside the country. It reviews the various academic disciplines that keep pace the requirements of the labour market, in addition to contributing to the exchange experiences between the participants and acquaintance with the new educational tools and means, especially after the changes witnessed by the educational sector and distance learning, he added.
