Uae’S Celebration Of Emirati Day For Education Underscores Its Role In National Development

Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Government Communication and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the AETEX, affirmed that celebrating the Emirati Day for Education on February 28 reflects the wise leadership's vision and commitment to establishing education as a sustainable strategic priority. He noted that education serves as the foundation for building future generations and remains the cornerstone of comprehensive development and civilizational progress. Al Nuaimi stated that the educational sector in the emirate of Ajman enjoys a prestigious status, receiving direct attention and follow-up from H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. This support is evident in the qualitative development of Ajman's educational infrastructure, which boasts world-class schools and universities offering advanced academic programs and specialized tracks. These programs are designed to align with labor market needs and prepare qualified national cadres capable of advancing the development journey and achieving the strategic goals of both the emirate and the nation. Abdullah Al Nuaimi added that the successful organization of AETEX over 12 previous editions, and the preparations for the 13th edition this coming April, embody Ajman Chamber's commitment to supporting the education sector and fostering partnerships between academic institutions. Such efforts empower students to choose suitable specializations and enhance the alignment between educational outcomes and market requirements. Notably, the last two editions (2024–2025) welcomed over 12,000 students and visitors, with participation from more than 110 universities and educational institutions from both within the UAE and abroad. Maryam Al Nuaimi, Head of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department at the Ajman Chamber and Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that the sustained success of the AETEX reflects Ajman’s position as a leading educational destination. She highlighted the high quality of education and the diversity of academic programs available, noting the growing local and international trust in Ajman’s educational institutions. This is further evidenced by the increasing annual participation of Gulf and international entities, as well as the broad academic presence that fosters the exchange of expertise and the building of strategic partnerships.
