The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and "Zbooni" company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to operate in the Emirate of Ajman and to provide its services for SMEs. The MoU was signed at the ACCI premises by His Excellency Mohammad Ali Al-Janahi, Acting Director General of the Ajman Chamber, and Ashraf Atteia, Head of Operations at Zbooni. The MoU provided for cooperation to serve the SMEs’ owners and to introduce the ACCI’s members to the services offered by "Zbooni" company. As a specialist solution provider for SMEs’ trade activities, Zbooni provides techniques for creating invoices, enabling payment, establishing digital stores, supporting customers, increasing sales and expanding the customer base. Additionally, the MoU stated organizing joint introductory workshops to educate business owners about the basics of e-commerce and the mechanisms of utilizing social media sites in marketing and increasing sales. Commenting on the MoU, Mohammed Al Janahi stressed its importance in providing value-added services for the Chamber's members, affirming the Ajman Chamber’s keenness to enhance the cooperation with the platforms that support entrepreneurs and ensure the growth of their businesses, especially in light of the current challenges faced by them. He continued, “The e-commerce volume is constantly increasing, and the country has witnessed great booms during the previous period with its integrated digital structure, adoption of a knowledge-based economy and data analysis, so that the UAE topped the list of the fastest and most growing countries in the volume of e-commerce.” “The cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors are necessary to provide innovative services and programmes that contribute to the growth and sustainability of businesses, especially SMEs, which are the backbone of the economy in the UAE,” Al Janahi said. For his part, Ashraf Atteia thanked the Ajman Chamber for providing an opportunity for cooperation, noting that “Zbooni” company provides innovative marketing solutions that keep pace with the changes in the commercial market and enable companies to increase sales with less cost and effort. “Zbooni application enables business owners and consumers to complete the sale and purchase processes through payment with confidence and credibility,” Atteia added. He also invited the project owners to download the application and benefit from its services.
