Ajman Csr Organizes A Workshop On "Social Responsibility And Future Foresight"

The Ajman Center for Social Responsibility (Ajman CSR) of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) organized a workshop entitled "Social Responsibility and Future Foresight", with a view to encouraging and educating economic enterprises to adopt social responsibility and the standards and requirements of sustainable development and the green economy, as well as to empower enterprises with tools to anticipate the future of social responsibility and inform them of best practices. The workshop was attended by 26 establishments who are members of the Ajman Chamber, and it was moderated by the consultant Rita Haddad. The workshop discussed the importance of foreseeing the future in the field of social responsibility and the necessary tools to achieve proactivity in the field of social responsibility in private sector establishments, and linking foreseeing the future with institutional excellence. The workshop also included a review of many pioneering practices in the field of social responsibility. The workshop stressed the need for private sector enterprises to adapt and integrate with rapid economic changes to ensure the establishment's sustainability and long-term success, with the importance of a forward-looking establishment strategy aimed at improving the quality of life, preserving natural resources, and reducing pollution and unsustainable consumption. The attendees were briefed on the mechanisms and tools of sustainable development within the establishments, including developing long-term strategies, continuous improvement, achieving competitiveness, encouraging innovation, and monitoring best practices in the field of social responsibility. Nasser Al Dhafri, CEO of the Ajman CSR, confirmed that the Ajman CSR seeks to intensify its activities during the current year to ensure the enhancement and diversification of its contribution with its strategic partners and private sector establishments, as part of the UAE's preparations for the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, at its 28th session "COP28". Al Dhafri stated that the workshop aims to empower private sector establishments with the necessary tools to anticipate the future of social responsibility and adopt best practices with the aim of achieving individual happiness and long-term social and economic well-being in Ajman, preserving resources and the environment, and reducing emissions.
